Digital Engineering for a Department of Defense Client
Client Situation – Little to no traceability towards implementing Digital Engineering policy. Limited progress modelling a complex systems of systems weapon system and lack of adoption or use of the model artifacts. Modeling the system is critical for conducting acquisition risk reduction and Weapon System modernization analysis.
Our Solution – We initiated an Agile Transformation, implementing Agile delivery across a software team and a model-based systems engineering team, while formalizing the digital engineering practices. The Agile transformation and DE rigor, combined with expertise in physics-based analysis and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), resulted in accountability and progress against implementing DE Policy and significant modeling progress with increasing demand (adoption) for modeling, simulation, and visualization artifacts. Systemic change and technical prowess have pushed digital engineering to the forefront of the system’s modernization.
Securing Small Manufacturing ⤻
Cybersecurity Software for the Department of Energy
Client Situation – Hardened cybersecurity is expensive for small manufacturing businesses. The client needed cheaper solutions to complex cybersecurity systems for those manufacturing businesses.
Our Solution – We analyzed and created a prototype solution using machine learning to detect abnormal incoming message traffic. When a detection occurred, the vulnerable machines were shut down automatically. This advanced technology solution provided a cybersecurity alternative for businesses that could not afford traditional protection at a fraction of the cost.

Client Situation – Organization was working on multiple, related projects, had dependent workflows, and was storing artifacts in places with no effective way to collaborate or take advantage of potential insights from the related data being generated.
Our Solution – We architected and developed a Data Analytics & Knowledge Management Ecosystem (DAKME) allowing the Air Force users (system analysts, modelers, systems engineers, etc.) to streamline and accelerate data acquisition, storage, analysis, discovery, visualization, and exploitation. Using an automated data transformation engine, real-time content correspondence metrics, knowledge graphs and use case-based data presentation, DAKME has made their vast amounts of data relevant, readable, decisionable and created a whole new aspect to their operations – collaboration.
